WHAT SETS ME APART
You may have been referred to me by a friend, a coworker, or another parent in a Facebook group. I know I’m not the loudest voice on social media, but what I offer is something far more important. I offer thoughtful, intentional swim instruction that supports your child and your family for the long run.
Parents come to me, and they stay with me. I don’t just work with children for a few lessons. I often work with families across multiple swim seasons, watching kids grow more confident, more capable, and more independent in the water year after year. Yes, I teach children and adults how to swim, but just as important is how we get there. Every swimmer is different. Some are fearless, some are hesitant, and some need time before they feel ready. I take the time to listen, read your child’s cues, and meet them where they are.
With over 15 years of experience, and now as a first-time father, I understand how big it feels to trust someone with your child. I treat every swimmer the way I would want my own child treated, with patience, respect, and encouragement. I understand meltdowns, fear, and frustration, and I know how to work through those moments without rushing or forcing. My goal is simple. I want your child to feel confident, safe, and excited to come back to the water season after season.

Policies and Procedures
PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
In consideration of the services provided by Swimming with Sebastian LLC (“SWS”), including its owners, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and representatives, I agree as follows on behalf of myself and/or my minor child(ren):
IMPORTANT PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY – PLEASE READ
ALL LESSONS AND PACKAGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PURCHASED.
NO PARTIAL REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
UNUSED OR UNCOMPLETED LESSONS ARE FORFEITED AND DO NOT ROLL OVER INTO FUTURE SEASONS OR YEARS.
Missed lessons due to illness, scheduling conflicts, travel, personal circumstances, or no-shows are non-refundable but may be rescheduled in accordance with SWS scheduling policies.
LESSONS, PACKAGES, OR UNUSED SESSIONS MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER CLIENT OR FAMILY. For liability and safety reasons, all participants must individually complete and agree to the required waiver prior to participation. Forfeited lessons may not be reassigned or gifted, and unused lessons represent reserved time that cannot be re-sold.
A package is defined as a discounted bundle of multiple swimming lessons purchased together.
TIME LIMIT ON UNUSED LESSONS & PACKAGES
Lessons and packages must be used within 12 months (1 year/365 days) of the original purchase date (unless it's an unlimited lesson package). Lessons or packages not scheduled or completed within this timeframe are considered expired and forfeited, will not be honored, and carry no remaining value. This time limit exists due to changes in safety standards, participant conditions, instructor availability, insurance requirements, and waiver validity. Expired lessons may not be refunded, rescheduled, credited, or transferred.
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that participation in swimming instruction and water-related activities involves known and unanticipated risks, including but not limited to: accidental drowning; slipping or falling; muscle strains, sprains, cramps, broken bones; head, neck, or spinal injuries; cuts, abrasions, bruises; illness or exposure to communicable diseases; equipment failure; environmental conditions; and the actions or negligence of other participants or persons present.
I understand that swimming instruction involves physical exertion and water hazards that cannot be eliminated without altering the nature of the activity, and I voluntarily choose to participate despite these risks.
2. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all risks inherent in this activity. Participation is voluntary, and I understand I may choose not to participate at any time.
3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless SWS from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action, whether known or unknown, arising from or related to participation in swimming instruction or use of SWS facilities or equipment, including claims arising from the negligence of SWS to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law.
4. INDEMNIFICATION
Should SWS or anyone acting on its behalf incur attorney’s fees or costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.
5. MEDICAL RESPONSIBILITY
I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer, or I agree to assume responsibility for all such costs. I further certify that I am physically capable of participating and assume responsibility for any existing medical conditions.
6. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE
Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and venue shall lie exclusively within the State of Florida. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
PERPETUAL WAIVER – VALID FOR ALL FUTURE PARTICIPATION
This agreement is perpetual and applies to each and every date of participation, including future lessons, packages, and sessions, unless revoked in writing.
NOTICE TO PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF A MINOR
READ CAREFULLY. You are permitting your minor child to participate in a potentially dangerous activity. Even with reasonable care, serious injury or death may occur due to inherent risks. By signing this agreement, you are waiving your child’s and your own right to sue Swimming with Sebastian LLC for injuries or damages arising from participation.
7. PARENT/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT FOR MINORS
I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant(s) and agree to all terms on their behalf. I assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage involving my child(ren) and agree to indemnify and hold harmless SWS for any claims arising from their participation, including claims alleging negligence.
8. CANCELLATIONS BY SWS
If SWS must cancel a lesson due to weather, safety concerns, or instructor availability, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost. No refunds will be issued.
9. RECORDING DISCLAIMER
By agreeing to this waiver, I consent to the recording of swimming lessons for safety, training, and quality assurance purposes. Recordings are securely stored, used internally only, and not shared publicly without written consent. Recordings are retained for a limited period unless required for legal or training purposes.
10. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By checking the acknowledgment box and completing booking, I confirm that:
